Mary began her graduate studies in music therapy with E. Thayer Gaston and William Sears at the University of Kansas in 1951 and continued encouraging music therapy clinicians right up to her recent passing in 2022; such a loss to the music therapy community. The Wilson Trust Music Therapy Project, a project of the American Music Therapy Association is pleased to announce the awarding of a $27,500 matching grant to the MultiCare Foundation for its music therapy initiative to increase music therapy services to infants on the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
