Music therapists often find themselves networking with staff members and numerous groups & individuals within facilities. Sometimes challenging or inappropriate comments or advances from others can happen. Kory Antonacci discusses different types of sexual harassment & provides specific guidelines & resources for music therapy professionals, interns, & students to utilize when responding to, reporting & taking steps to prevent sexual harassment. We can use these tools to create a safe workplace.​

Measles, or Rubeola, is a highly contagious disease experiencing an upsurge of outbreaks in the US and abroad. Music therapists, and especially clinicians in private practice, should be informed about the disease and consult policies and procedures regarding infection control and prevention at facilities where they work or contract services. Clinicians in private clinics should review and consider their own policy as well as advisories and emergency directives from public health officials.

Ethics of publishing an article would seem to be rather straightforward, but this AMTA-Pro podcast reveals the complexity of publication.
