Reminder - The last day to access the 2021 conference platform and its sessions will be April 15, 2022. If you have questions about how to get back on the platform please e-mail conference@musictherapy.org. Make sure you print out your certificates for sessions before the deadline!

The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) stands in strong opposition to harmful legislative efforts in multiple states including Florida's Parental Rights in Education “Don't Say Gay" bill.

On February 22, 2022, Texas Governor, Greg Abbott issued a directive to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to begin investigating gender affirming healthcare procedures as “child abuse.” AMTA adamantly opposes the Governor’s directive.

2022Clinician-Based Grant Program

The American Music Therapy Association is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2022 Clinician-Based Grant (CBG). The CBG program supports applied research grants in music therapy with funding up to $5,000.
