How to Join or Renew Membership in AMTA

  • Go to the Online store,
  • Login with your email address and password
  • Under "Shop for" choose "Membership" and click the "Go" button.
  • Choose the appropriate membership type and add it to your shopping cart
  • Click "check out" and follow the instructions you'll see.

  • Call the AMTA national office at 301-589-3300 and staff will be happy to help you!
AMTA membership follows the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. But you can join at any time during the year and receive ALL your member benefits for that year! If you join later in the year, your membership is not prorated; all your member benefits (even the ones provided before you joined) for that year will be available to you online in the Member Resources section or the Member Toolkit as soon as you join. AMTA membership includes a discount for the AMTA annual conference during the year in which you are a member. 
 
Note: If you join online after October 31 (September 31 for students), your membership year will be automatically defaulted to the following year.  You can still join for this year if you like by calling the AMTA office.  We can take your payment over the phone and apply your membership to the current year if you prefer.
