AMTA is proud to participate in a variety of events throughout the year to help further the profession of music therapy. Information for advocacy events, media events, and information to sponsor an event can be found here.
AMTA also hosts the AMTA National Conference for music therapists and non-music therapists alike. This event provides the latest information in the profession of music therapy and includes an opening ceremony, special music, continuing education sessions, interactive music making, networking opportunities, and more. Each year the National Conference is held in a different city in the country, but given the COVID-19 pandemic 2020 was virtual and 2021 will be virtual.
