A result of the historic partnership between Oxford University Press (OUP) and AMTA to publish music therapy journals, the first issue of the NEW Journal of Music Therapy, Volume 51, Issue 1, is now on its way to members’ and subscribers’ mailboxes.

The journal also appears online through OUP’s partnership with HighWire Press. HighWire is a division of Stanford University Libraries that works with scholarly societies and other publishers to create a collection of the finest fully searchable research online.

Archival material is available online with unlimited access to past issues as a benefit for subscribers and current AMTA members.  Mobile app functionality is available, as well as eTOC updates (Table of Contents), where you may sign up for notifications delivered to your email inbox when new content is available.

As a reminder, current AMTA members may access the journal online through the portal in the AMTA website. Log in with your AMTA-recognized email address and password, then go to Research>Journals and Publications and then scroll to the link titled "Journal of Music Therapy AMTA Member Access Portal."
