CMTE CC: Case Study Research Design

Clinicians have first-hand practice based evidence that is integral for demonstrating the effectiveness of music therapy methods to meet client needs; however, they are not always given the time, financial support, or materials needed to carry out complex research studies. Given this context, here are three reasons to consider CMTE CC as part of your professional development at the 2019 AMTA conference

  1. Want to contribute to music therapy research? MTR 2025 aims to involve clinicians in research. This course helps bridge practice and research in a practical, informative fashion.
  2. Have clinical evidence that demonstrates efficacy? This  course dives into ways to convert data to meaningful information and research via case studies.
  3. Want to network while learning and reviewing strategies and processes to conduct applied research in music therapy? This course fits the bill!

"At its best: Research is active. Research is personal. Research is powerful. Research is every day. Research is you!" (Meadows & Robb, MTR2025, 2015)

CMTE X: Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED
